"I’ve been a freelance writer and broadcaster, growing up in the city but determined to have horses in my life. After earning my degree in Mass Communications, I worked in broadcast news in Louisville, Kentucky, where I covered the Kentucky Derby and events at the Kentucky Horse Park, produced equine-focused features, and finally bought my first horse."
